Since moving to Houston last August for law school, I havent been able to shoot nearly as much as I would like. I've been to Memorial Shooting center several times, American Shooting Center the times I wanted to shoot outdoors. Last Friday, I went to Top Gun Range, (the range had been closed due to fire) and I was very very impressed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The range itself is extremely well lit, the ventilation is great, the bays are clean, and the range area is very organized. Now I understand that it has been newly remodeled and everything should be like this, but again, I was very impressed.

Top Gun is my new choice for indoor shooting here in Houston. (It also helps that its only about 10 min away)

I was just there last week buying a Pocket Holster. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
The range wasn't finished yet and I've never shot there before.

Since I'm over that way often for work I think I'll stop in to shoot sometime...Maybe I'll see ya there. ;-)

I took my CHL class there and really like the place. The last time I was there was this past October and at that time they only had 5 lanes open and ther was a wait even on a Friday afternoon. Glad to see they are back up to full operation. The place is FIRST CLASS. :clapping: :fire

Give them time gentlemen...Right now they are friendly and giddy because they are trying to rebuild the business after a fire last year. They've been utterly disgraceful and dishonest to a number of their formerly loyal customers which is why places like Memorial Shooting Centers have a standing line waiting on Saturday mornings. There's no doubt the place has been rebuilt to far better standards than it was before but, the same people are in charge and the friendly/knowledgeable staff will not last long. Take advantage of it while you can.
