Saturday, Feb. 6 starting around 1pm.

I have a narrow window of opportunity, and will be there. Everyone in the area invited to attend.

Place: The Shooting Gallery located behind Winchester Gallery
6062-A E. Lancaster
Ft.Worth, TX 76112

It's located in the southwest corner of E. Lancaster & Loop 820 east. The ranges are located behind the chain link fence.
Cost: $15.00 per range session. No time limit. No limit of number of guns you take. NO steel cased ammo allowed(they check).
Cost for Sr. Citizens(age 60 & up): $7.50

This is the first time I've been able to shoot since November & I'm really looking forward to it. You can park behind the chain link fence. That's where I'm parking.

Look forward to meeting you folks!

I have a really busy day Saturday, but if my schedule budges a little I can be there. I'm still in the trying out stage so I need to rent one there.

That'd be great if you could make it! They have a wide variety of guns to rent. Gosh, maybe 50 or 60 of them! Hope you can make it.

I think they sell the cases to a scrap dealer, and it's to hard to separate the few steel cases from the thousands of brass cases they accumulate over a weeks or months time. Can you imagine trying to separate 100 steel cases from 100,000 brass cases in 55 gallon drums? "rlol"

So they wont let you shoot cheap ammo because it would be inconvenient for them to pick it out as they sell your Shells? I dont like that

Will do gtrman66! :thumbs2:

I met mikeintexas & surprise_i'm_armed there at 1pm today. They sent us to the 12 lane building and shared a lane. We all took turns shooting each others pistols.

I had the most fun I've had in 6 months! So much fun shooting with new found friends. I shot a box of ammo; Mike shot up a little more than a box, and SIA about 2. We'd stop and talk about 10-15 minutes between re-loads.

I'm just sorry I didn't have more time to spend with them. I think they wandered over to the gun store. I had to leave at 3pm.

SIA & Mike, thanks so much! That was a really fun time and very much look forward to our next outing! :tiphat:

When is forum day?

I met some church buds for breakfast at IHOP at 6:30, drove to Hurst to inspect a Harley for a guy in Galveston as a favor, rode to Cabelas ($20 Kershaw knife is sold out), Rode back to Arlinton and helped with the stage contruction at Theater Arlington for 3 hours, got home at 1:30, took a nap, went to BWW for wings and 3 games of Trivia (I won all 3!!!) went shopping with the wife at Kroger and now I am pretty much ready to crash.

Please keep me in mind for round #2!

Sorry I couldn't make it on Saturday. My dad was in town and staying with us for the weekend and my wife and I found out that we are expecting a new future CHL holder in about 9 months. So I felt that I needed to do the family thing on Saturday. Hopefully I will be able to make the next one, and make Forum Day, whenever it is.

It was nice to put faces with names! I enjoyed meeting Joe and SIA and the Winchester Gallery is a great range. Like SIA said before leaving, maybe we can get together at DFW Range in Dallas next time.

It was a lot of fun send a few rounds downrange! :txflag:
