A) Where are you? That would be helpful.

B) What kind of firearm? If you're in or near Dallas, I have fired a friend's suppressed Bushmaster AR15 in the tactical bay at Elm Fork Rifle Range. Two lanes to my right, a guy was firing a suppressed MP5 on full auto.

I know TOP GUN in Houston as well as Impact Zone allow suppressors and SBR's. It's a no no at American Shooting Center and Carter's though.

At Top Gun...just make sure that you take a copy of your Form-4. Every time that I've gone in there with a suppressor or an SBR they get kinda standoff-ish. I just get out my paperwork and show them that the serial numbers match etc and they usually don't have a problem with it. As far as I know there is no legal requirement to show those documents to them, but I do it as a courtesy. Also I forgot to mention that shiloh shooting range in Tomball loves machine guns, suppressors, SBR's etc. Jeff and his crew run a top notch range.

You might give Shiloh a call. They had a small show there a while back and Talon had brought a bunch of supressed & full auto firearms that people could shoot.

Thay may have been just for that day.

I wouldn't spend money at a range that didn't allow suppressors, SBRs, or handguns.

Yes that was us just for that day. We had an HK UMP, MP5 and an FN P90 I think it was for a BBQ or something (maybe Shiloh's anniversary). We've also been out there when Outlaw Dave was broadcasting.

Not that it matters for the purposes of this discussion, but Shiloh is not in Tomball.

It is not in Houston either, just another part of unincorporated Harris County. :)

I don't own any class 3 toys but I wouldn't patronize an antigun gunrange. Boycott them like any other antigun business.

Sorry Rugrash, I couldn't resist. I even used a smiley hoping you wouldn't be too upset. Cheers.
