Anything around Denton?

I'm a student on a very limited income to would enjoy just taking his Mosin and SKS out every so often for a good shoot, but alot of the places around here either don't allow FMJ, are too far away, or are too expensive for my taste. Some ranges would like a nice chunk of that paycheck just for me to shoot downrange for a few hours. Cmon!

I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for someone located in Denton, near UNT. Anything in the DFW area is fine, but I'm looking for something like a 100 yard rifle range - I did DFW once but the $25 for a 25-yard lane just didn't impress me.

Elm Fork is working on putting their 100 yard range back up. It got flooded last year and then bought out by the shot gun range guys who are really doing a lot to improve it. The old owners use to allow military rifles but they were persnickety about it. Don't know how the new owners will be but I suspect they will be better than the old ones.

Adrenaline Proving Grounds (APG) is a bit of a hike from Denton, in Greenville, but is a nice range to shoot at . Rifle out to 300 yards, and they aren't weird about ammo.
