A good day at the range

#1

Post by 308nato »

Went to Shiloh this morning to to blow the lint of my Rami and tried some low ready shots at a bad guy
target and was lucky today had no flyers.
They all were on CBM and even got a couple of head shots, all in all had a great time trying to out
shoot my friend BOb.
I just might go back at 6:00 pm to try some IDPA type shooting that they have on thursday nights.
Thanks again guys for a fun place to shoot.
OH did I mention good coffee and good conversation. :thumbs2:

I suppose there is. Thankfully I haven't had one. The days I don't shoot like I know I can are still better than most days at work.

Working as a nurse there are days that I wouldn't swap even for a day at the range. Days when you make a difference. They just don't happen all that often. There are lots of days when you'd really rather be at the range.

A bad day is whenyou pop one of the target hangers and your target hits the floor down range.
Then they have to call time so you can pick it up

I shot a hanger at Shiloh! Cost me an extra five bucks. It taught me a lesson about the barrel moving upwards when you shoot as fast as you can! I love the fact that you can rapid fire there. Was that giant cat on the counter? I think that they need to get a dog!
