Texas City Range report

#1

Post by Paladin »

Had been meaning to check out the Texas City range for a while now. Since several people here recommened it, it made it to my "Must Do" list.

I loaded up my AR and took it down there last friday. It was an especially beautiful day that morning. Wish I could have spent the whole day out there.

It really is a nice range. Very professional management. The range officer was careful to inspect every gun before people went down range, and even swept up the brass to keep the pavement clean.

Standing fire was allowed, and it was nice to have set 25, 50, 75, and 100 yard positions for each rifle lane.

Thanks to everyone who recommended it!

That is one nice range. I used to go there when I lived down south. One of the few things that I miss about living down there.
