From 7pm until when?
How much ammo should a shooter bring?
What else should a shooter bring? Eyes and Ears are a given.
Do you shoot from concealment or open?
Do you have to bring your weapon in a bag or box, or can you wear it in (do they have a place to unconceal?)
Can anyone answer these questions by Teamless - for the benefit of the rest of us??
Charles beat me to it! I'll put in my two cents as well...

Alright....I have been to both matches. Although I don't speak for the Arms Room, here is the deal:

cost is $15.00 per shooter
Hammer down at 7, but if you have not shot a match at the Arms room, you should attend the new shooter orientation meeting at 6:30.
Both times, the matches ended before 10:00. Last night we were done by 9:30
Both matches we shot less than 100 rounds (they were 72 round matches) 6 scenarios, 12 rounds each
Bring your regular IDPA stuff: Belt, Holster etc. Magazine or speedloader holder is a good idea.
These are not sanctioned matches, so they consider a concealment garment optional.
As far as I know, you would be able to unconceal and then gear up. They have everyone gear up at the same time on the line.

Hope this helps...

The match was very fun and in my opinion the most beneficial way to spend time shooting. I happened to be in TLynn and williamkevin's squad last night so here's my shout out to you guys! :thumbs2:

I've been both Mondays now - first time shooting anything other than standing in front of a stationary target for practice. It's so much fun (now that I've got a SA and NOT a revolver!) and I'll definitely continue to shoot as long as the money is there! The Arms Room is one of the nicest I've seen. Well designed and GREAT staff! :coolgleamA:
