Last time we shot indoors was at Pasadena Gun Center and we were not too happy about the place so we went to Marksman is South Houston.
We arrived there and all the lanes were busy but it seemed like the lane opened up before we were even able to get sat down in the waiting area. I would say we were "waiting" for less than the time it took my wife to visit the restroom.
We took 3 guns and the conversion kit for the Glock 19. (Actually we had 4 guns there but one was kept concealed

It was a little cramped because we were both put on the one lane but we essentially took turns in shooting.
Our enjoyment was somewhat spoiled by the man shooting to our immediate left as his 45 shells kept on jumping over the partition and his hot brass kept hitting us. Of course these things happen but his seemed to be every shot!
The lanes were pretty busy and I was really pleased to see one of Houston's finest getting some target practice in. (She was a pretty good shot too).
Several people were blasting away with what I can only assume was a fully automatic handgun and that was funny to see as he was plastering them all over the place. It looked like the safest place to be was right in front of his target! But it looked like fun and I wanted to have a go too....but I didn't.
All told we shot about 250 rounds through the guns and I was happy with my target and I was especially pleased that the Glock 30 shot really well and the missus handled it just fine. She was a little concerned that it was too much gun for her but she felt it kicked less than the 38 Special she shot one time. My wife tried to take some pictures but the rude hot brass man glared her down for it so she stopped.....sorry no proof that I shot the snot out of the middle of the target

All told it was a pretty good outing (despite mr Rude Hot Brass) but my wife was a little disappointed in her groupings but as I pointed out....they were all center mass.

I would certainly recommend the range, especially if it is raining.
Now to clean the firearms and update the records.
