Sportsman's Outlet - Humble - Range Reopened

#1

Post by Glen3107 »

I went by Sportman's Outlet in Humble today after seeing a sign out front that their range had reopened. I've been waiting a couple of years for the range to reopen after their fire and have "biting at the bit" for a chance to shoot there again.
Boy was I impressed! They did an outstanding job with lots of improvements over their old Public Range. The Public Range has been improved with new lighting and ventilation systems (It's bright and very comfortable!) The targets are now positioned with electric controllers and they installed a new range back stop. The new shooting stations are comfortable to use and have tall side stops.
It's great to have them back in business. I really enjoyed putting holes in some paper at the new range today. :hurry:
Great job, Gary, Don and all.

Went there today and expended several boxes of ammo for the first time in years (at that range). They did a great job on the rebuild. :clapping:

There are 9 public lanes and a "law enforcement training" range. The guy behind the counter said an IDPA group was starting up again this coming Tuesday (11/17). I'll need to go by there in the evening to find out more about times.

The public lanes are $13.99 per hour. Didn't ask about ammo prices because I have plenty.
