Thank you...We are working hard to get things off center. Architecture and other issues are completed, now we look for some calming on the economy and banking in order to help us keep the momentum.

Let me know if I can help! I'll pick up a shovel, a drill, a hammer, volunteer my truck. . . trade weekend-warrior labor for a membership? :woohoo :hurry:  :thewave :anamatedbanana :clapping: :tiphat: :cheers2: :thumbs2:

I live nearby and work from home, and I've been anxiously awaiting this since I caught wind of it. I'll try to stop in sometime soon and say, "Hi." My wife, brother, brother-in-law x3, cousin, and uncle will all be enthused and ready to become customers as soon as you're ready.

My main concerns when looking for an indoor range would be first: safety, second: location, third: later hours at least 9:00 in evening, fourth: cost

The only range I can go to because of my work hours is in Whiskey flats 377 and 1187 "On Target" has later hours.

This Roanoke location sounds great about the same distance for me, but it would also be a location I would visit while going to Cabellas ( my toy store ).

Oh, one more thing to consider would be heat in winter and cooling in summer, all ranges fail when it comes to this I guess because of the ventilation needed for the fumes, but there has to be a work around for that.

I just called AGW and talked to somebody who was very polite and helpful. They apologized for not being able to give even an estimated date for the range to open, but I made sure to say that I understand that ya'll are probably getting whipped to death by this question. He didn't seem to mind. I'll probably stop in sometime this week just to look around and get a few quotes on potentially ordering some things.

I'm just thinking that a range day and then dinner at Babes sounds SOOOOO good.

I'm sure hoping you allow FMJ mil surplus rifle rounds.

Maybe we can have a range day some time with a few forum members. Looking for something other than Garland and Plano for ranges.

Sounds like a hoot to me. I'm probably going to that Garland range with some friends not this weekend but next (12/20).

I went in and talked to the guys at AGW last week. . . said they are hoping to break ground in March. I hope I'm allowed to post this. . . a lot of things could change before then, so they were not committing to this as a date, but I thought I'd pass along the word as there seems to be a lot of excitement, enthusiasm, and anticipation waiting for this range.

If any of the folks from AGW would prefer that I delete this post, simply ask me to do so and I will.

March is the tentative date...no worries posting it. However, the best-laid plans, sometimes screw up. But things are coming together. Production of custom 1911's in 3, 4, and 5 inch models is underway as well.

If you allow magnetic full metal jacket (as most military surplus except for current yugo) I am driving over from frisco!

Mausers, Mosins and other Commie rifles I have need a place to shoot that.
