teaching my grandson to shoot- ranges conroe, spring area?

it's time to take my grandson to a range to shoot something besides a bb gun. he lives in the woodlands area. can any of you recomend a good safe range in that area where it would be possible to take a well behaved six year old? i don't mind driving some to get there.
thanks

Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.
