#1

Post by ttujjr97 »

A new gun range located on 121 in The Colony was approved by Planning and Zoning Commision..

https://www.thecolonytx.gov/DocumentCen ... -PZ-Packet

Look on page 4 of the link for the approval

https://www.thecolonytx.gov/DocumentCen ... 181108-PZ-

Look on page 8 for details.

Looking forward to this if they actually build...

I’ll vouch for Rifle Gear being a pretty cool store!

I'm looking forward to it too. I like Riflegear. They are a pretty stand-up shop who do a lot of foreign aid behind the enemy lines of Commiefornia

I wonder if they close the Plano store since this will be about 5 miles away

I just talked to one of the people who work there. Details are sparse and may be stale, but last he heard, they're planning an indoor range w/ 4 100 yd lanes, a ton of 25 yd lanes, and a full retail store to back it up. They will shut down the Plano location and move everything to the new place. Slated completion is Q2 2020.

I like the idea of 100 yards in-door range
Nice, it is just 25 min drive.

Well due to the advanced sale and the fact that they are very close to where I live, I couldn't resist purchasing a 3 year Pro membership!!! I need to shoot a lot to get the best bang for the buck...LOL. It's nice they will have a couple of 100 yard lanes but I'll be on the 25 yard pistol/rifle lanes a lot also. Can't wait for them to open, hope I'm not disappointed.

I found this online. I took a screenshot of the non-membership pricing, but unfortunately, the forum won't let me put it here. When you go to this link, if you select "Range" at the top, it will show you normal range prices without the discounts of being a member.
