Ranges near Pflugerville?
Visiting Austin this weekend, want to go shooting with son in law who is getting his LTC. They live in north Austin next to I35, other side of highway is Pflugerville. Looking for ranges in that area.

They aren't the cheapest. About $15/hr IIRC. But its convenient if its just a short trip to shoot a couple boxes of ammo.
If youre looking for something outdoor to make a day out of it you can head out to Best of the West in Liberty Hill. http://www.texasshootingrange.com/
I have not been to either place in a couple years but I always had pretty good experiences at both. Best of the West has a lot of options. (25yd to 1000yd rifle ranges, private bays, pistol ranges, shotgun area, etc)
