Re: Walgreens Pharmacist Gets Fired for Defending...
I think I'm just going to start going to local small business stores instead of big chains. Unfortunately I don't know of a small pharmacy in Huntsville.

I'm never shopping anywhere again!BrianSW99 wrote:Looks like you better find some place beside CVS:pbwalker wrote:That may be the case, but the fact that Walgreens acted on it is what bothers me. Businesses may *have* to put this in their manuals per legal. But they have the discretion to enforce it. If they want a no weapons policy at work, that is their right. But in this situation, where the pharmacist had to choose between life and death, he chose correctly. Walgreens did NOT have to fire him. If CVS were to do this, I would express the same outrage.

Re: Walgreens Pharmacist Gets Fired for Defending...
I got the same automated response as everybody else I'm sure.
I'm sure the policy is the same at CVS, but I don't think it matters. The idea is to get the point across to Walgreens that they're losing business because of this. Then the business weighs the potential losses to lawsuits from collateral damage if an employee fights back against the losses from Pro2nd citizens refusing to do business with them.
We all know each of our emails are only a drop in the bucket, and that the Walgreens corporation will not change it's policy or give this man his job back. But it's better than nothing.
If we don't support our fellow Pro2nd citizens in times like these then we really have no hope for obtaining "Constitutional Carry"
