Re: University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy
Here's the news story that ran in our paper. It's actually written mostly in the middle (slightly surprised): http://thedailycougar.com/2016/08/01/ca ... need-know/

Re: University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy
I haven't fully walked around to see which buildings are completely off limits, but majority of the rooms you see listed are laboratories or lab classrooms. We knew this was going to happen. For example, I'm currently attending Anatomy 2 Lab in the Science Teaching Laboratory Building and although t...

Re: University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy
I see what you did. You missed my instructions to scroll to the right. The list is of all university spaces. You have to scroll to the right to see which ones are off limits.7 pages of off-limits locations is a minimum?
They held pretty true to Labs and Children.

Re: University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy
That sucks for A&M. University of Houston had Tilman on their side I guess. Our limitations are minimal.

Re: University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy
We got our Student and Staff Letter today from the UH Police Chief; Campus Carry starts Monday. I've attached a copy for your enjoyment. We are in summer session now, so the impact to the fetal-position whiners should be minimal. Here is a current link to the Off-Limits locations (remember to scroll...

Here's what we have to contend with at U of H - Main Campus (Ugh!): http://thedailycougar.com/2016/07/13/bullet-points-will-continue-speak-says-gun-free-uh-admin/ http://1c71hb3in51z3g8k1j1nogrdvsm.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/4dd024b2-6293-48cd-abe0-fb093a086071-620x350.jpg

Re: University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy
As a full-time student, I will still comply with this improper sign. It's not the same as at a retail store where if you "print" management asks you to leave. I'm pursuing a degree in my 50s using my military benefits, there is no way I am going to fight this battle. For me, it would mean ...

University of Houston PD - Active Shooter Training
As I have written here before I am an "older" student at UH's main campus. I happened across this article earlier this week: "This Is How UH Police Teach People to Survive the Worst-Case Scenario: A Mass Shooting" http://www.houstonpress.com/news/this-is-how-uh-police-teach-peopl...

Re: University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy
I would be quite happy to file suit against UH on August 2, 2016 if they put anything remotely close to this into practice on August 1, 2016. I find great comfort knowing you have filing suit as one of the solutions. I posted this before I read it page by page. When I got the section where where th...

University of Houston - Releases Draft Campus Carry Policy
For those of you following at home, this is the first commit to paper. There's been a lot of talk, rumor and innuendo up till now. Of course, Draft Versions are written pencil. But, at least we have our first "real" red meat to chew on. http://www.uh.edu/police/campus-carry/Campus_Carry_Dr...

I reload for the pure joy of it. I rarely even worry about the costs and certainly don't factor it in my loads. I reload 9mm ammo for IDPA shooting and love experimenting with different powders and bullets. I love taking them out to the range to put them through the Chronograph. I know some guys mak...

I am a Clemtex buyer as well, but I use thier Corn Cob for the shiniest of shines  Corn Cob runs about $14 for 50 pounds. They have a cool set of Bins so you can compare grit size before buying. Once you order and pay they hand you a receipt and then send you over to a smaller warehouse across...
