It's only there when I'm not in the car so it's not accessible to a crook who may have broken in. When I'm in the car going places it's in my holster.winters wrote:Maybe im confused but why is your gun stored in the trunk of your car? Seems like the most useless place to keep it to me.

Re: Critique my current firearm storage situation
In the vehicle I just use a gun vault similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Secure-It-Handgun-Storage-Safe/dp/B004LANO1C" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It stays under the seat, tethered to the seat post by a cable. It wouldn't stop a seriously motivated thief, but it keep...

Critique my current firearm storage situation
Hi, Just want some criticism/suggestions on how I currently store my firearms. I know many won't agree, it's OK, i'm open to suggestions and a better way. I have 2 fire arms, a .40 caliber glock which stays in the house and a 9mm subcompact springfield which stays in the car. My at home firearm sits...

Re: Going unarmed
I've walked into banks armed and unarmed. When I'm armed, I always think to myself, what would I do if a team of bank robbers come barging in with assault rifles? There's nothing I can really do with my firearm, I would just comply like everyone else. If it's 1 guy trying to rob the bank than maybe ...

Re: Advice: Wife won't carry
The traumatic experience wasn't really a big deal, just went to a range that didn't allow rapid fire and she did fire a a few rounds in succession and the range officer came running to her yelling. Got on her real good. She doesn't want to go back after that.

Advice: Wife won't carry
I've talked to my wife many times about self defense and trying to learn to shoot and carry a CHL. She was traumatized by her first experience at a gun range and never wants to go back. Although she's actually been involved in a bank robbery where she was on the floor while robbers took money, she d...

Re: Self Defense Scenarios - What would you do
OK, sounds like many of you have common sense. I would probably do the same, have my weapon drawn quietly in the back in case he comes but otherwise wait it out. Lets say your walking out of the bathroom and you see him with a gun pointed right at your child or family member. Your coming to him from...

Self Defense Scenarios - What would you do
I am usually always running self defense scenarios in my head. What would I do in this situation, would I draw my weapon or would is it not worth it? So I'm curious what you would do in this situation. 1.) Your at a convenience store somewhere in the back shopping. A robber comes in with guns demand...
