Amazing how important shot placement is. A buddy of mine shot a pig when I was with him w. a .25 WSM right in the chest and I still had to put him down w/ a brain shot from my AR.

I shot a pig that was about 150 lbs w/ 10mm Gold Dots and it was perfect. It was recovered under the skin of the off-shoulder. I will post a pic of the recovered bullet when my wife gets back into town. (she's the computer nerd of the family)
I also shot a 200+ lbs pig with 62 gr Bonded Fed TRU and it was recovered on the off side shoulder, and I shot a 35-50 lbs pig with my Walther PPK with .380 Silvertips and I recovered that on as well.
I was happy with the bullets, but none of them killed the pigs stone dead. They were all hurting, but I don't think they would have been immediately our of the fight.
my buddy on the other hand shot one and killed it (300 lbs easy) dead with a .22 WMR, so go figure.
