Re: Home invasion 1 man shot by homeowner, 3 arrested
I'm glad the homeowner stepped up and did what he did and didn't hesitate. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some training in the past. According to the article it doesn't actually say he emptied his clip. Says he emptied 8 rounds from his clip (or 8 shots). continued firing his gun until he had emp...

Re: MPA and Motorcycles
I thought I understood what open carry meant but does this statement " as long as it is not concealed " mean you have to open carry in NM????? :???: You can conceal in your home and car but if you don't have a license you're not allowed to conceal when you're walking around in public in N...

You should be fine in New and improved Mexico but stay out of Old Mexico, even if you have a CHL. http://www.dps.nm.org/lawEnforcement/ccw/ccwFaq.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Taken from the New Mexico DPS website. Question: If I have my gun holstered in “plain view” ...

Re: OH - LEO Notification goes BAD, really BAD.
In Ohio does Law Enforcement know when they look up a vehicle plate number
that the owner has a CHL like here in Texas?
In the video it almost looks like they knew and were avoiding the driver on purpose so they could set
him up for not telling them.... crazy.

Putting the moral issues aside just for a second....
Are there any legal issues in this scenario pertaining to a police officer on duty handing a citizen a temporarily confiscated or
an item of potential evidence ?

Re: One more reason to not fire a warning shot...
I'm thinking a 911 call would have been good instead of just shooting blindly.
I wonder if he has had any problems with robberies in the past.

Re: Wal-Mart WWB price goes up.....
Academy didnt raise there prices, so just go there over walmart. Its alot easier than trying to find someone to open the ammo cabnit anyway. I went to one in Dallas this week and the prices were raised to walmarts but I didn't realize this until I got home and saw my receipt The signs showed the ol...

That is pony express slow.
Maybe they should have a service where you get an E-mail notice
with an option to go to the Austin DPS and pick it up yourself.

Re: CHL Instructor Arrested for Selling CHL-100's
On May 20th, an El Paso CHL instructor was arrested and charged with a 3rd degree felony for selling CHL-100's. The instructor took a fee and issued one or more CHL-100's without any classroom instruction or range qualifications. What idiocy! Did he/she think no one would find out? I haven't heard ...

Re: CHL Instructor Arrested for Selling CHL-100's
Answer: LEO's, prosecutors and judges decide daily on what crimes get prosecuted to the fullest and which ones are not prosecuted at all. And you wouldn't want a world where every crime is prosecuted the same and sentenced to the max. Do you want to see every 18-y.o. boy caught bedding his 17-y.o. ...
