As to your last comment, I seem to be going the other way. I had 2 1911s, then traded one for a Glock 19, now I'm considering trading the other one for a Glock 21.

yup 1911's are fun but i dont find them as "practical" as a glock, etc.
Probably going to sell off my springfield lw champion i bought for carry....too heavy/bulky for my tastes
but once you start in on the 1911 stuff it gets expensive fast, same for hk
