I grew up in Brooklyn, NY until I went into the Military. What I find sad now is, until I was in my 20's I didn't know it was legal to own your own firearm for anything other than hunting. I thought you needed permission and a license. I recently told my father that growing up I always felt out of sorts... Out of place... Then, when I was stationed in WA State and lived and explored in the vast wilderness I realized I was always a redneck back woods yokel trapped in a city boys body...
ha ha. Sadly WA became waaaay to liberal and intrusive and I thankfully (thanks to my wife a Native Texan) found myself here...
