True, but it's a bold statement to say that men who happen to carry around an iPhone, know how to use it, and enjoy facebook/twitter are less manly than you are.

I hunt 3 or 4 times a year--pig, deer, and fowl. I camp & fish often. I am an avid backpacker. I served 6 years in a SWCC unit, am a combat veteran several times over, and have deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa. Pretty sure I have enough punches in my man-card to stand up to most standards ;)

While I admit that mankind is losing it's connection to nature and the hard ways of earlier centuries, I am quite certain that all is not lost. I appreciate the sentiment, but not the condescending tone.

ffemt--a friend of mine upgraded her iOS on her iPhone 4 and it's a battery killer!

My iPhone came in from UPS today. Pretty slick. Noticeably thinner and longer, the screen looks great, and everything works just like before. All the changes are subtle, yet appreciated. I'm really enjoying it.

I stayed up and ordered at 2 a.m. when they went on. I'm glad I did, it took me forever to actually get through on the Apple website. I placed my order at 2:45 a.m., and apparently they were sold out about 10 minutes after.

I should also hav mine Friday... no lines, be shipped directly to my door. Sweet.

I watched the release today too......

I'll be buying.

I'm usually the same way... really slow to adapt to technology. This is the first time I have found myself caught up in the iPhone hype...

This, opposed to my wife who has a 6 year old blackberry. She gives me a lotta flak...

Any other folks on here being all nerded out and excited about the iPhone (5?) release tomorrow? I plan on pre-ordering as soon as it's announced. I went and traded my iPhone4 into Best Buy on Sunday for $210, so I'm hoping to upgrade for basically free. As a side note, I have been using an OOOOOOLLLLLLLDDDDDD samsung flip phone since Sunday. It took me two whole days to figure out how to actually text on it.... time flies.
