A little bit on the wild side for my tastes.

Re: Sporting Clays Questions
If your shooting a fundraiser, normally the targets are set on the soft side. I wouldn't worry too much about choke. I imagine your skeet/ic would work just fine. As far as shot size, I normally try to shoot 7.5's but 8's will work just fine. 7 shot is illegal unless it is steel. Most ranges limit ...

Sporting Clays Questions
Here's a question for some of you guys that shoot skeet/trap/sporting clays often: I run an over-under 12g with Skeet choke on top and IC in the bottom for almost everything. I've been shooting a lot of trap/skeet the last year or so, and I've found that that combination works best for me-- the skee...

Re: Trying something new this season :))))
Yeah, I've been practicing. I'm going to see what my groups are like by Thu. If they are tight I will go on and hunt next weekend. I've already promised myself to keep my shots under 25 yds until my confidence improves. I'm very, very excited though.

Trying something new this season :))))
I've bored of rifle hunting, it's time for something new. The investment is made and it's surprisingly natural to pick up and shoot. We are talking 3" groups at 30 yards after a few hours practice. I'm excited.... http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/bb350/Snatchel38/04C61B98-3BA5-4977-B54F-2D30...

Re: Spent the Day with This:
Nice looking rig, where did it come from? I was supposed to get my XDs back tues but had to change it to tomorrow. It's almost like Christmas Eve. I've had the shoulder rig for quite some time, I ordered it originally for a G19. Turns out that out fits the XDs perfectly. It's a Galco Jack...

I carry 124/147 Gold Dots. Honestly, I'm pretty sure any quality defensive stuff will do the trick.

Re: Are you handing out candy this year?
Interesting views on Halloween..
Wife and I always hand out candy to the young kids who dress up. We are also quick to dismiss the teenagers who are out for freebies, those kids are lame.
I always am packing, of course.

I definitely have done plenty of research on the XDS, but ...

College Rings?
Wife ordered a class ring for me, and I have mixed feelings about it. Anyhow.... just seems like a lot of money for something that I'm not even sure I will wear often.
So... did you buy one? Do you wear it? Do you regret it?

Re: Let's talk about knives
I have 3 knives I carry for EDC. The most recent is a Benchmade 940 .... It's not assisted or auto but it is super fast, sharp, and handsome.
