It MIGHT be deadly force Jim. It is not always, and depends on the circumstances. There is no law or case law that says getting struck in the chest or head is always deadly force It's deadly force as far as I am concerned. Some of you may be like superman, but I am physicaly challenged. I'm not goi...

oh, and If you want to talk to the deputy directly:

DEPUTY SHERIFF 830-885-1071

This may be the Guard Box at the entrance to the parking lot. I wasn't "pulling your leg". I know this is the deputy's number at the school.

It is NOT A NO GUN ZONE. Simply posting a sign does not make it a NO GUN ZONE. Please tell me the name of the school, I have GOT to see a Deputy Sheriff being a parking lot monitor. Thats funny. School: Smithson Valley High School Location: Smithson Valley, Texas (hill country) County: Comal County...

Please understand I mean no reflection on your daughter. But what you describe sounds more like a correctional facility than a school. The schools I know about are NOT like that . BINGO...you can't imagine what they have put me through. I also have another court date, because my daughter was with a...

Are they searching vehicles?
And to answer your question, YES. They have been know to even check the trunk of vehicles when leaving the school. Some kids will leave the school grounds in trunks of vehicles, or hide behind the front seats. I guess it's been a LONG since youv'e been to a school.
