I have a LC9 for the times I have to pocket carry but the stock trigger is a long pull. However that is fixable if you don't mind some minor modifications.
The Shield and the PPS are both too big for pocket carry and I haven't quite gotten into carrying a small gun in the 1911 style condition 1. I have heard a lot of good things about the small SIg and the Beretta Nano, but work with your primary carry gun first. Now that I have a holster I really enjoy I rarely find a need to carry anything other than my M&Pc.
