I have done the online app and L1. What happens now? Am I required to send the CHL-90 prior to being assigned a class? I've downloaded and reviewed it and appears that the majority is not applicable due to never having taught before. Are they still sending a formal application in addition to the online one? Affidavits, print and sign and send in or are they the same as the "check boxes" on the online app? Any other valuable info would be helpful and very much appreciated.
You can always check the status of your application online (which usually doesn't tell you very much) or you can always call them and wait on hold for 30-45 min to talk to someone.
They will send you notification of which class you will be in and what the location of the class, the requirements, dress code, range rules and what ammo that they allow you to bring.
Hope that helps.
