Re: OWB and Retention Holster
I just received a Safariland ALS paddle holster and really like it (came with a belt loop attachment too). I had used one before when I worked at a range. It has the thumb break but works so naturally it's almost like it's not there. I was looking for something OWB as my IWB holsters put a lot of st...

Re: WTB - IWB Holster For A Shield
I have a Remora holster for mine and love it. Easy to slip in/ take out or adjust to however you want it, as it has no straps and is held in place by friction.

I don't know the answer to your question, but am wondering what type of web cams you purchased?

Re: Motorcycle Lighting Question for LEO
If it's dark I ride with my LED lights on. They are blue, under my tank and hard bags. I feel they are a safety visibility issue riding at night. I've never been stopped but have ridden by may LEO's. I'll be heading out very early tomorrow morning to escort the Wreaths Across America ride to Houston...

Re: WalMart ammo
Went by Walmart yesterday with my wife. I looked at the ammo shelf and they were cleaned out (except for a few shotgun rounds). She was looking for panties – they didn’t have what she was looking for their either….. sound like a big conspiracy – is there a correlation between lack of ammo and pantie...

Re: HB47: Reduction of Class Hours for Initial CHL
I believe a basic handgun class should be required as well. I've seen some who get a CHL and had never shot a pistol before attending the class. Just because they get a CHL they still have no idea how to handle the weapon. I worked for a while in a gun range, and I've seen it first hand.

Re: FREE NRA Membership, after gift card from BassPro
Should be still available, as I used it again just last month. Got my gun bag and purchased a nice flag shirt at Bass Pro Shops with the gift card.BritOnTour wrote:So, is this deal dead again?

Re: NEW Smith & Wesson M&P conceal carry weapon
I don't believe he's asking about the M&P 9c, but the new (tomorrow, 4/12) "M&P 9 Shield". I have the 9c and would like to look at and compair the new compact to it.

Re: M&P compact 9mm
I switch between my M&P 9c and my M&P 9 FS. Love them both. One of my daughters prefers the 9c while the other prefers the Full Size. All 3 of us prefer the M&P's over the Glock. My daughter who has the 9 FS her husband carries a Glock 19. The M&P 9c is very accurate and concealable.

Re: Conceal Carry when going to the Range?
They don't mind CC at Shiloh, just must be holstered or bagged. I went shooting there the other day - shot my CC gun and several I brought in my bag. My friend with me also shot his CC gun, bringing his bag only for his ammo and gear. In their tactical classes they also remind you to get set up CC w...

Re: Trigger Control off the Range
Since I cross train in HapKiDo, I've gotten used to keeping my index finger (ki finger) straight when gripping most anything, from drinking glasses, motorcycle levers, most anything I grab. So pistol handles are a natural grip for me with my index finger at register.

Re: Motorcycle accident and carrying handgun
Glad to hear you're OK. I picked up a fanny pack/scrote tote from my brother (a Fed agent) for when I ride but haven't used it yet (been so hot). I'm hoping that will be my best option while on the bike.

Re: How often do you practice?
I've been tending to go once or twice a week, but not always practicing with my primary carry weapon - I like to practice with my full size.
