The last concert I went to at Toyota, this was the case. Everyone wanded and bag searched. You can put a pocket knife/NAA under your foot if you feel that you must get something in. Otherwise, leave it at the car. The security folks aren't going to be sympathetic to your pleas. LEO are not going to escort you in as one of the good guys.
