While not a scientifically large sample, I was once pulled over with no license. The officer asked me if I could remember my number at all. I just couldn't remember it. FCC license, CHL, DL, insurance card, eyeglasses prescription, other health information, etc..
They may not be accepted as genuine, but it's better than nothing.
