The rail on the m&p c was the deciding factor for between the baby glock and the m&p. Despite my humerous and sarcastic (to me anyways) username, I traded a G22 to help fund a smaller, more concealable gun when I applied for my CHL. So for me that gun is my carry, range and field gun. Whenever I still get to make trips up to my friends lease for a weekend of fun, I have a cheap field holster than accepts it with a cheap light or laser. I also use the laser at home to practise drawing and aiming from the hip, trying to develop muscle memory for where I should point if I can't extend to fire in a SD scenerio. Though I don't use anything on it as a bedside gun, since I have a Stinger flashlight beside it, it's more reliable to me than the cheap attachments. Just my .02, but yes I really wish glock had a rail on the small'ens, and I would've bought one instead.
