If they received it, it will not post on the website for a minimum of "weeks". A maximum of months, if ever. You did not send the originals, did you? You should scan the originals and upload them to the website. At least then you would/should get an email saying they received your documen...

Another note on this topic.... If you receive a letter from the DPS requesting documentation of final disposition, you will "NEVER" be able to confirm that DPS actually received the disposition documents if you submit them online. I have been in "Background Check : Under Review" ...

I read them, cover to cover. Not exactly an easy read, but definitely worth it. I have to admit I learned a thing or twenty by sitting down and spending some time in the statutes.

It looks like my best course of action may be to wait another year and a half until the 10 years has passed.
Curious though, what could one expect to pay an attorney to discuss my circumstances? And are there any attorneys anyone on this board could refer?
