Yep, now the OTR drivers are required to be able to go into Canada, Mexico, New York City, Chicago, and various other "forbidden" places. This is one of the reasons I gave up over the road hauling. They'd rather have a dead or injured driver than have the rig tied up for a driver's violation of local gun laws. Then I went to work for company in McKinney, Tx that had the same idiotic no gun rules for local work.
