Pretty big hubris they have then. Something like 100 million gun owners, more everyday. Even the leftist twenty somethings that are leftist on other social issues are not on this one.

The anti's meme is that gun ownership is in decline, and that while gun sales are up, it's people who already own guns buying more, not people buying their first guns. Personally, most of the people I've seen at gun counters lately seem to be buying their first gun.....with probably about 70% being couples where the wife is getting her first gun. The thing to remember is that the lefties live in their own world of self-comforting delusions and ignore reality unless it falls from the sky and lands on their heads.
