Re: An Inside Peek at Prog Re-education

I call it something else. Bovine excrement. A lie is a lie is a lie. Who falls for such nonsense.

Short Story. I remember in college in a per-requisite history (American history 101 or something like that) course reading about a certain man in the early 1800's and his opinion on the Native Americans. By the standard of the time he lived in he was quite a generous and kind man. But the class got very uppity and started going on and on about how patronizing what he said was. It was only when I pointed out that he was a man of his times and his contemporaries were much less civil. The teacher (who was amazingly a decent sort of a man) met with me after class and said that I had the mind for understanding history. What I was shocked by was that the class could only see things through their contemporary view. Our education is ever so lacking.

Re: An Inside Peek at Prog Re-education

WHAT! Ok, Idiots. This is not anywhere near the neighborhood of reality. As a person with a degree in history the idea that they did this both makes me want to laugh at the insanity and smack whoever thought of it.

The pilgrims did have the old world equivalent of a passport. It is called a charter for the colony. They are trying to rewrite history and I do not appreciate it. Chanting something and banging on a table does not make something factual. It just makes the chanters look like idiots.
