My brand new, not even fired yet CM9 also has that notch in the rail and the bowed sides. I wondered about those bowed sides when I stripped and cleaned it, that must just be how they're made.Keith B wrote:Mine looks identical. Same notches in bottom, notch on rail and bowed sides.
