I'll second this. Plastic arrived yesterday and the wife kinda gave me a strange look when I put on my 1911 this morning. After traveling all day today and finding out that the hotel we had booked was in a very bad place ( the 4 police cars in the parking lot busting druggies kinda gave it away), she now finds it very comforting to know I had something on me. ( I won't mention how much better I felt myself, though I think a tank would have been more appropriate )kjolly wrote:When you can carry the weight of a gun on you becomes a comfort you get used to. Hopefully never have to use it other than at the range but the peace of mind that you are prepared to protect your family is priceless.
We also quickly made alternate arrangements elsewhere. Lesson learned, sometimes those 5 star reviews must be planted by the owner because that place didn't rate a single star in our book.
