Hair, clothing, and body art are what the person wants them to be—or wanted at some point in his life, in the case of tattoos.
For some people it's a personal idiosyncrasy. For others it's a warning or advertisement that says, "Don't hire me."
Either way, tats or not, I will always look at the demeanor of the person who is approaching me and what their body language is, if I have time, to asses the possible threat ...
Keith, asses are two or more donkeys. It is a good idea to assess the behavior of others.
And plenty of neatly dressed people with good hair have turned out to be rapists and murderers. They are probably the scariest, because they can glide in under your radar.
