Re: What would you have done?

...if they come after me, when I'm mindin' my own beeswax, they're bad guys...no matter what color their club is...if they've got a woman by the goozle...they're bad guys... even if they're wearin' a sash...it's not so hard...I'd bet these kind of posts were made when they first started talkin' 'bout folks gettin' the right to carry, too...good thing noone took 'em seriously...

Re: What would you have done?

...depending on the officer's attitude and how you'd used it...it could go either way...I've heard stories of someone being charged for having a broken axe handle or hammer handle in the car...which I've done in the old days(leaving the axe head lying by it)...I gave away an oak tire whacker recently...just beggin' to go in the truck...so I got rid of it...I keep a golf club with the head sawn off just past the turn behind the truckseat...a walking stick/cane...that will dance a tune if needed...I left enough of the head on the tip to give it a knob...and it's light...I've made/given away dozens of these lightweight canes in the past 10 years...folks seem to like 'em...

:iagree: The other issue is trying to just shoot one person during a on-on-one struggle is not a wise choice. Too much room for error and the innocent person will end up getting hit either from a poorly placed shot or a shoot-through on the BG. Best if you can get them to stop by using a nightstick or baton of some type, or get others to assist in separating them and detaining the BG.

...I'm for letting citizens keep clubs, nightsticks, expanding batons...after they take a training class...the Prosecutor and Asp are awesome weapons if you're educated on how to use them...they'd be great truck/car defensive weapons...and would be MUCH better on a guy like this than a gun...one swat on the upper calf muscle and he'd've been struggling to hold his water, much less her neck...with no risk to bystanders...oh, that we could get the law changed here...some states allow CHL holders to carry other weapons, too, that are forbidden the general public... :iagree:
