Re: LCR pocket holster
Update: based on comments here and on other forums, I ordered a Remora holster (the 8R-UC to be precise). First impressions: 1. The outside is rubberized and is considerably 'stickier' than other pocket holsters I looked at before ordering. 2. The inside is lined with a barely-padded synthetic fabri...

LCR pocket holster
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good pocket holster for a Ruger LCR?
My only real requirements are: (1) it must cover the trigger guard; (2) it must stay put in the pocket when the gun is drawn; and (3) it should be small/thin enough that you don't have to have giant pockets.

Re: Cinemark "no guns allowed"
I agree with others, do not write, they may put up the correct signs. I disagree on your evaluation of the movie. My wife and went to see it, I was ready to walk out in about 10 minutes, she is a Les Miserables fanatic and even she walked out after about an hour of it. Surprised the heck out of me!...

Re: A Leter to my Local School Superintendent
... I'd even worry that a female teacher, who carries her firearm in her purse might have security problems ( my wife had her wedding band and wallet taken out of her purse when it was put away in her desk while working with some 4th graders way back when she was still in the classroom). But there ...

Re: A Leter to my Local School Superintendent
I wouldn't put in anything suggesting that teachers be required to participate in a firearms program: merely that those teachers who have already taken the personal initiative to obtain a CHL should be permitted to carry concealed on school premises. The effectiveness of concealed handgun licensing ...

2012-03-31 CHL in hand!
It's finally here!! I can stop obsessing over it!
Of course, I do still wonder why they sent it Pony Express; mail shouldn't take a full week to get from Austin to Houston. But that doesn't matter now: the sun is shining, birds singing, etc., etc.

I hear you -- my status changed to 'Mailed' on Saturday. Wednesday and Thursday came and went with nothing for me in the mail. I sure hope today's the day so I can quit thinking about it.

Was that with .223? I have been wondering what is the minimum effective round for feral hogs, and haven't seen an answer.
