Re: Favorite Chain Restaurants
If you are ever in Granbury, try Grump's. They are great and make awesome burgers. I am there about once a month doing service work and always stop in. The queso burger is the best. Los Lupes in Bedford is good. Although I think the manager is a little shady. A buddy of mine is a bounty hunter and h...

The way I look at it is, if you follow all the safety precautions you are supposed to you wont need this.

Hearing impaired
Does anyone teach classes for the hearing impaired? I have a student who's room mate is deaf. She says he reads lips really well, but I don't if that is enough. I told her I would try to find him a signer to sit in on one of my classes or find him a class that teaches to hearing impaired.

Andy, I notice you live in Euless. You are probably the guy who scoops up all the wheel weights from the local tire shops before I can get them lol.

Re: Bullet casting question
If I may add a little info. You need to buy a book...It's the Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook. I have the Third Edition, not sure what edition is current? This book will tell you just about all you need to know about what you want to do ;-) I keep mine handy, its always been good reading. Plus it has a ...

Re: Bullet casting question
I will gladly accept all donations of pure, soft lead. My Minie balls insist on only the finest lead  I'm curious about your source. I'm told that there are places that have scrap "xray wall" lead, but I can never find a "Lead Walls R Us" store :cryin My brother-n-law w...

Bullet casting question
I posted tis earlier but I never saw it show up, so I will post it again. I bought a Lyman Big dipper kit and was given some lead that came from a wall in an xray room. Its pretty soft lead so I am almost sure it is pure lead. Any way, after getting all this material and buying a set of Lee 40s&...

Re: Lee Precision = Perfection! (well, almost)
I just started collecting lead for casting .40 s&w rounds. Should I add tin or anything else with it to make them harder, or should I just use the lead. My lead that I have so far came from xray equipment that my brother n law got for me. Not sure if that is the same hardness as wheel weights or...

Re: Nervous--Update
I shot my first 10 reloads this past weekend. I was nervous as well. Everything went great and I loaded up 50 more this past week. Today I was at a shooting range/store in Weatherford and they had some good prices on their reloading supplies. I grabbed a couple of boxes of small pistol primers for 3...

Re: Lee Precision = Perfection! (well, almost)
That is really awesome. I just shot my first 10 reloads ever yesterday and it was great. Except for the fact that the range was packed and I couldnt find all my brass. But I am very interested in gettting into casting. Great photo.
