We are just going through the legal motions of this thing. It can be very tiring at times, I know not everyone like guns. I know we might get a few anti gun people on the jury. I just hope to have those people that are deathly afraid of semi-trucks on there. And trust me the fact someone doesn't like big trucks will be more weight bearing in my opinion then being anti-gun and this is thanks to the news media talking about how this truck driver had this or that accident. People have more interaction with semi trucks then guns in their lives and many people hate trucks. SOme because they were almost ran off the rode. or know someone that has been seriously injured in a car accident with one. Look at all the TV Commercials about being in an accident with a big truck and making them pay. I do not see any about being unlawfully shot by a CHL carrier.... Sorry about the rambling just needed to bounce some more thoughts off of people

Yes and even send my husband a letter saying they found no misconduct

They sent told them he was illegally carrying a firearm on a commercial vehicle and we sent the state proof where it wasn't

That is the Thing he received unemployment from day one.

Then on the 11th of this month his supervisor admitted in a deposition that there was NO COMPANY POLICY AGAINST GUNS UNTIL 3 DAYS AFTER HE WAS FIRED

We have a Lawyer, just bouncing off ideas off people that are familiar with Guns and laws.

The sign was not even at the building where he was fired

Actually, no they don't. There are people fired all of the time, right or wrong, for reasons that don't make sense. At that point you have to do what you are doing now and fight it. And, while you may get an arbitrator or judge to rule in your favor, the problem will now be that your husband would have to return to a potentially hostile work environment if he goes back to that company. And you can surely bet that they will tell him he can't have a gun on property with witnesses in place when told and they have 30.06 signs now posted.

Bottom line, sounds like he was unjustly fired, but burden of proof will be on you guys with a costly legal battle. Good luck on the case!

C-dub before they fired him they tired with all their might to have him fired

AND JUST TO CLAIFY my husband worked for this company for 9 years before they fired him.
