just watched the "flashlight gun" episode on demand last night. i vaguely remember seeing something exactly like this on TV a couple years ago but i don't know if it ever went on the market. anyone know anything about this?

honestly i wonder if it isn't at least some sort of an act, or a role that she's playing for the camera (see Chumlee on Pawn Stars as an example, in real life he's not as dumb as the show portrays him, but his character is more entertaining).txflyer wrote:I'm going to have to stop watching if they don't edit out the daughter some more. she does seem to know quite a bit about guns, but her "one-of-the-guys" - or, more accurately, "better-than-most-of-the-guys" - attitude has gotten annoying after just a few episodes.
i enjoyed the episode where they fixed up that WWII flame thrower, but i was a bit bothered by their method for testing to see if the tanks would hold up to the required pressure. they were just standing there with the tanks on a work bench right next to them, with a guy saying something like "well if they're gonna blow it'll happen soon". i'm sure they had to have tested them in a more safe manner before doing that shoot, maybe they just did that to make it seem more dramatic.
