I disagree here. He's certainly done enough things to qualify for impeachment and it's within the realm of possibility (barely) that the House could garner enough votes to follow through. But after impeachment it will go to the Senate where nothing will happen. So....

Impeachment: Maybe
Conviction & Punishment: Not a chance.

No. Impeachment doesn't really do much of anything by itself. It's kind of like a grand jury indictment. After impeachment, the case goes to the senate who then tries the President and, if found guilty, assesses punishment (ie, censure, removal from office, etc). Assuming Obama is impeached, found guilty, and removed from office, Unca Joe automatically gets his seat.
:iagree: so we should impeach them both.
I could go along with that. :thumbs2:

Course, it'll never happen. And, if by some miracle it does, the Senate won't do anything. :mad5

Even if the House impeaches him, what is the likelihood of the Senate convicting? Somewhere between None and :smilelol5: , IMHO. And even if they did, what's the worst they would do? Censure him? You know darn good and well that the Senate will never remove him from office.
