Yeah, watching Indy and NASCAR on TV is about as exciting as watching paint dry. The only thing that raises eyebrows is the occasional crash, and what the heck, now you can watch 30-minute crash compilations on YouTube, so what's left?
I enjoy being at the track for a race. There's something visceral about all that horsepower. But, watching NASCAR on TV is BORING!

And Indy is a total yawn, even at the track.

That will prove to be a good idea when they build a successful Speedway at the Meadowlands. NASCAR is, essentially, betting they can attract urban SJWs faster than they'll loose their historical fan base. I'd bet heavily against this decision.
