It's a good group here. Most "serious" CHLers are, I've found. And the mods here don't stand for much shenanigans. ;-)
I think that High Noon makes great holsters. I own several. I have purchased two Mr. Softys, but don't used them. If it works for you I think that is great.
What gun do you carry?
HK P2000SK AIWB.

The softer thinner leather is great for appendix carry.

I live in Richmond TX by the way and work in the Greenway Plaza area in Houston.
If you're up this way give me a shout and I'll bring out the holster box.
Thankfully I've been able to sell off several expensive ones that didn't work for me and not take too bad a loss.

Re: Holster Advice

Chetter......

You want to save some $$, time and effort?
Add your location to your profile and maybe someone in your area will offer to let you play with their box of unused holsters. (seriously)

It's difficult to give holster advice... My body is not your body. My clothing is not your clothing. My work/play/home situation is not yours. A holster that works perfectly for me may be terrible for you... so.. my best suggestion is to plan on trying some out... make friends, it'll save you lots of time.

Just my $0.02
:tiphat:
