They try to keep those influences hidden these days.
Seems to me that Wilson quote was an accusation, a condemnation of the education system... not a statement of his preference.

I'm not a Wilson fan, but, seemed unfair to him to quote that out of context.

No.

I got mine for SELF-defense.

I may or may not decide to come to the aid of an unrelated third-party, depending on the circumstances. But, that is most certainly not the reason I got a CHL.

It's a BIG joke in my family.... Everything that goes wrong is MOM's fault...
And ever since I got married, it's the wife's fault.
