Would there be a need for a way to check for stolen? How?
Aside from the risk of buying something with hidden damage, I'd be worried about buying something that's stolen. I suppose if you require a BoS, that anyone with a stolen gun would be more likely to choose the no-questions-asked Church offer, but, nobody ever said thieves were all smart.
Does seem like a good way to make a few bucks and keep a few guns from the crusher.
As for the GunShow Loophole argument... If all the BUYERS are CHL, NICS is pre-verified.
The media should be saying "Licensed Gun Owners Save Sellers from a Raw Deal".
