Poor Juan Williams (who I generally like, even though I usually disagree with him) felt that this sort of thing would bring about more Columbines. :roll:

I taught my kids to shoot at a young age. They loved going to the range for maybe 3-4 months. Then the cold weather came and they got bored/lost interest. You know how kids can be. Now I can't even drag them to the range. :cryin But I don't have any worries about them being in a house (mine or someone else's) with guns. Their curiosity is pretty well satisfied. Safety and "What to do if" is pretty well ingrained. Guns are just "something dad likes to do".

Taking the mystery out of it, making it not-taboo, providing education.... saves lives.
