Written by a DFW area paramedic and Marine Corps veteran, the article contains good advice on do it yourself first aid kits. I like that he supplied links to every piece of his example kit.I think he missed some big drugs:
- scope discussion - risks, who, where, why
- basic training - weighs nothing
- family medical information/history - easy to forget
I don't think he should include peroxide because it isn't taught any more.
- constipation (laxitive)
- cold/flu (expectorant, cough suppressant, pseudoephedrine)
- topical pain killer (orajel)
This is in my head b/c hurricane season just started. Time for the annual review of supplies.
