Re: For ladies only
she saying in the write ups that they are made of a breathable and wicking fabric, so I would think it should be ok in August, probably better than our leather holsters.jayinsat wrote:According to my wife, this is very comfortable and breathable. We'll know for sure this summer but. Don't think the August heat will be a problem.

Re: For ladies only
I don't know that I would want to wear it daily?
not sure. I would see how it wears and fits/hides the gun. personally, I would probably where my regular holster with my looser tops and this corset thing with my more "snug" fit ones. At least I think that's how it's suppose to fit?
The lace she is using is stretch lace, so it serves a purpose, it's not just regular lace like is what at the bottom of say a little girls dress or something, that's one reason why it's more expensive.
Oh, and she's using lace because it breathes, you wouldn't necc have to wash it every wearing unless you were outside sweating all day.

I have no comment because I don't understand what is fair?
I think it's a very cool concept!
like I said earlier, I am a seamstress, it's a very fair price. she's using good lace, I sew Christening gowns, I know lace. She's reinforcing the seams well so they can hold the weapons. I wouldn't do it for this price. there's a lot of work going on here.
you have to understand, a small biz still has bills. we aren't just paying for the lace and the fabric, we have to cover electricity, the wear and tear on the sewing machine, and at some point, we'd like to make a payment on the car and maybe, just maybe, buy a new gun and go on vacation!

Charles L. Cotton wrote:My wife watched the video and she likes the concept. However, she pointed out something that I would never have considered. She's barely 5' tall and she said the corset apparently comes in only one height. What works for a 5' 4" or taller woman won't work for her. I watched the video again and I don't see how she could wear it for just that reason. I don't know how tall Dene (video) is, but she appears to be of average height for a woman and perhaps even taller. I looked at the website and the corset comes in different sized in terms of waist, but not in height. That's going to be a problem for a lot of women.
Chas.
she's right, 9" isn't going to work for everyone. I'm not sure it would work for me. I'm 5'3" but I'm short in the torso. For some it might be possible for some of the extra to go into the pants or skirt, but probably no more than an inch or so.

Re: For ladies only
yeeeesssss, they are a bit pricey, however......the materials they are using aren't cheap, and really aren't all that easy to work with. I'm not sure how long it would take to make, I could probably work it out but I wouldn't want to take the time.
