here's what I do....first my husband pretty much can't be in the room....he starts critique my method and that p*s me off and stresses me out. If I'm not concentrating on my gun I can't work on it. I can work on it if anyone else it around, just not him understand my hands are small and weak, from many, many years of needlework, and my left thumb is very, very weak since I tried to slice it off a couple of years ago. I take the gun in my right hand, CAREFULLY put my hand on top of the slide, you have to find just the right position, so that it won't be pinched, grip the slide, then push the gun with the right hand.
I hope this makes sense? there are still some guns that are too hard, but it helps at least.
